A Fall Evening at Klondike Park | The Gulledge Family
There is just something about fall evenings at Klondike Park that never gets old. The colors, the golden light, the perfect weather, and that little bit of magic that seems to settle over everything as the sun starts to set. And last night? Absolute perfection.
I had the best time catching up with Josh and Christie and their sweet little boy, Garrett, who turns TWO this winter! And let me tell you, he is every bit of a busy little boy. His priorities for the evening included playing in the sand, exploring every inch of the park, and hunting for sticks (obviously!).
And honestly, those are my favorite kinds of sessions. Instead of asking little ones to sit still and smile at the camera, we get to follow their lead. We explored, we played, and we let Garrett do what Garrett does best. Because this season of life is busy, curious, a little unpredictable, and so full of wonder. I want to remember it exactly that way!
Klondike Park is beautiful all year long, but there is something UNREAL about it in the fall. The trees were showing off every shade of autumn, and the golden-hour light was giving us the prettiest cotton-candy glow. The kind of evening that makes you want to bottle up the feeling and keep it forever.
It was so wonderful seeing the Gulledge family again, and we even got Grandma in for a few photos! Those are the little extras that make a gallery even more special.
Josh and Christie, thank you for letting me spend this beautiful evening with your family! I hope these photos always bring you back to this sweet, busy, stick-collecting season with Garrett. Two is such a fun age, and I hope you always remember just how much little boy wonder filled these days. 🤍
